WELCOME TO THE SAN ANDREAS STATE POLICE!
First and foremost, congratulations on being selected to become a San Andreas State Trooper! It's my pleasure to welcome you to this department, and I hope you will enjoy your time here. This agency is one that prides itself on quality, realism, and most importantly, brotherhood. Although we exist in a fictional universe, we take our jobs and our standing within that universe seriously. We always strive to maintain and improve our standard of quality, our relationship with the community, and our overall public image. You were chosen for this position because we believe you to be a like-minded individual that will play your part to help accomplish these goals for the agency as a whole.
As you begin your training process, know that while it will be difficult; the feeling of accomplishment and prestige will be worth it in the end. While our goal is to challenge you and improve your skills, also know that your success is important to us. Regardless of rank, we are all here to help you accomplish your goal of becoming a State Trooper. Whether that means extra time spent with you as individual, or extra training sessions; all of us are willing to do what it takes to help you get across the finish line.
In closing, my promise to you is to always do my due diligence to ensure that this agency remains an agency that you can be proud to be a part of. That means maintaining our tradition of mutual respect, professionalism, attention to detail, good ethics, and honest service to others.
Welcome to the Tradition of Excellence!

THINGS TO CONSIDER
1. It is a requirement for all SASP employees to attend the basic peace officer training academy before entering the patrol division.
2. Promotions are based on several factors; display of character; time in service; professional conduct. We are looking for the best to wear the uniform.
3. The SASP has specialty positions though the department's main focus is basic patrol.
4. Any breaches of the public trust or dishonorable actions will result in your immediate removal from the SASP.
5. The SASP can be a great place to work. We offer a professional work environment with qualified people serving within our ranks. We are looking forward to your contribution!
6. All employees on patrol operations must be able to record in-game footage and audio. We consider this to be your "bodycam." Your bodycam MUST be rolling during all patrol operations.
7. All employees of the SASP are NOT allowed to have any connections to a criminal organization; even on a separate character.
8. Use of an unmarked unit must be authorized by command staff. While operating an unmarked unit, the operator must be in a full duty uniform.
AT-WILL EMPLOYMENT
This agency is dedicated to providing quality services to our community. Listed below are a few examples of what is considered conduct unbecoming.
The SASP reserves the right to terminate any employee, regardless or rank or position, for displaying conduct unbecoming.
1. Being disrespectful to those in your department, regardless of rank.
2. Being unnecessarily disrespectful or too heavy handed with the civilian population.
3. Having a poor attitude or not having the willingness to correct mistakes when they are brought to your attention.
4. Participating in any corrupt behavior. Corrupt cop RP isn't allowed within Rowdy Racing RP and could result in termination and/or removal from the server.
5. Consistently not having body cam evidence when asked for it.
6. Violating the chain of command. Do not do anything that this SOP says requires supervisor approval without supervisor approval. If you have a complaint or a report involving someone else within your own agency, notify your sergeants of that complaint. Do not skip over your sergeants and go higher in the chain unless you're positive the issue is of dire importance. If your complaint or report involves someone with another agency, take the information to your sergeants and they will involve the right people if necessary.
***DO NOT, FOR ANY REASON, TAKE YOUR REPORTS DIRECTLY TO ANOTHER AGENCY!
YOU WILL BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY IF YOU DO THIS.***
