Colonel Garrett Oakley is the commanding officer of the San Andreas State Police. He is in charge of overseeing the department as a whole, and advising the Director of Law Enforcement and the Governor of San Andreas on all matters pertaining to the department. Colonel Oakley is a distinguished graduate of the San Andreas State Peace Officer Training Academy and has served the citizens of San Andreas since 2016. Oakley brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in law enforcement training, use of force review, and agency command. Prior to his service in San Andreas, Colonel Oakley spent nearly a decade in law enforcement in the state of Texas. He possesses a Master Peace Officer license and is certified as a Use of Force Expert. While serving in the State of Texas, Colonel Oakley spent time as a deputy sheriff as well as a patrol officer for two local agencies. Oakley also spent several years of his career as a field training officer, as well as in a supervisory role.

Major Thomas Mason is the department's senior-most administrator and the second-in-command of the San Andreas State Police. As the Assistant Superintendent, Major Mason serves as an advisor to the Superintendent and serves as the Acting Superintendent during the Superintendent's absence. Major Mason is a veteran of the United States Army where he served for eight years as a Military Police Officer. During the Global War on Terrorism, Major Mason served at the detention facility located at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba during Operation Enduring Freedom. Major Mason is a distinguished graduate of the San Andreas State Peace Officer Training Academy and has served the citizens of San Andreas since 2016. Major Mason is the commander of the SASP Aviation Unit and Maritime Patrol Unit.

Captain Jay Gatsby serves as the Operations Commander for the San Andreas State Police. In this position, Captain Gatsby serves as the third-in-command for the agency and is responsible for the daily law enforcement operations occurring within both the Northern and Southern Districts. Captain Gatsby is responsible for all Lieutenants, Sergeants, and Troopers serving within both of these Districts and advises the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent on all matters pertaining to the agency from a ground-level perspective. Captain Gatsby is the commander of the SASP K-9 Unit and serves honorably with his K-9 partner Indy. Prior to graduating the San Andreas State Peace Officer Training Academy, Captain Gatsby served as a local police officer within the midwestern United States.
